"It's a Simple Little Story!"
Boy meets girl. They fall in love. Girl moves to "Downtown, Doswell, Virginia" where the head-line entertainment is sitting
by the garden, drinking a chilled glass of chardonnay and
watching the chickens on a Friday evening.
And speaking of the garden .........................it grows, and grows, and grows. God rains down blessings on Yohmans' Garden with avengeance. Daily, the plants are producing -- not baskets -- but five-gallon buckets of tomatoes, peppers, squash, corn, and oh, did I mention, tomatoes? Girl is reminded of Diane Keaton in the film "Baby Boom" - city girl moves to the country, and the apples are more than plentiful. She wonders what on earth she'll do with all of these apples -- applesauce turns into homemade baby food and the blossoming of a new venture! Much like Diane, this girl is thinking "Thank you God for all of these tomatoes, but really ..................... what are we suppose to do with all of this?" Needing something besides the chickens to pass the time in Doswell -- she becomes a Kitchen Diva! Small and simple, Yohmans' Garden began with friends and family, and now we offer our blessings to all of our soon-to-be friends.
Like our garden, our family grows - four beautiful children and two adorable grandchildren.
We take nothing for granted, and count our blessings, which are also plentiful, every day!
